Jain Society of Toronto
Maintaining the community website, donation flow, and day-to-day digital experience.
I help the Jain Society of Toronto maintain and improve its website, including the donation flow and the content people rely on for programs, events, and community information. The work began with a redesign and continues as ongoing product stewardship rather than a one-time internship.
Community infrastructure
For a volunteer-led community organization, the website is both a front door and an operations tool. It needs to help people find events and programs, understand the organization, and support it through a donation experience that feels trustworthy and easy to complete.
I treat the work as an ongoing project: maintaining the site, improving the donation flow, and helping the digital experience keep pace with the society’s needs.
What changed
The original redesign paired stronger search optimization with clearer site structure, increasing web traffic and online inquiries by 85%. I also built a digital menu system that removed roughly two hours of manual updating each week.
Alongside the site work, I created digital and print materials for signage, flyers, and outreach so the online and in-person experience shared one visual language.
Why it stays on my project list
This is not a co-op entry. It is a team and community I continue to support, and a reminder that useful software often looks like careful maintenance, clear content, and a donation flow that never gets in someone’s way.
